sad to say i think youre right :/

as for feedback to this- yes i know you said you dont want any but its not on the rules, its on your timing.

getting anyone to commit to something more then a month away (not to mentuion season 6 should be out by then) is a bad bad idea. the ideal window is 2-3 weeks from the posting date. your doing it what, 2-3 months away? a lot can happen between now and then. they might even release "new" teir 5 consoles that are just as broken as the teir 4.5 and lower by then etc etc.

The tournament is almost two months away and the precise date is not even known yet. How is pointing out that this makes signing up a bit more difficult than it should be trolling?

Here is a question though:

It seems your rules require a sign-up of exactly five persons, since substitutes are not allowed. Or am I reading this wrong? Can we sign up as many people as we like and then choose a fixed five on the day of the tournament?

how is my constructive feedback on the timing of posting the signup considered trolling?

ive hosted/attempted to host several events in the past and i've seen events hosted in the past. im just letting you know what has worked and what hasnt.

its also been stated that season 6 should be out around june (unless i misheard that) which will bring who knows what kind of changes.

i honestly thought when you posted the feeler you were aiming for an early may/late april date. june is really a bit too far to sign up for now. (consider family vacations/no school/etc etc)

i appologize if my intended to be helpful insight was considered foul in anyway.

When there is a sign up for a marathon, do you write a whole sch-peal on why you think the date will not work for you? No, you sign your bloody name.

There is another forum post to voice your concern. All I asked was one thing, for any interest to be posted. I understand you're trying to help, but really? Common guys, at least have a little respect.

We attempted to do this for fun. Don't turn this into a nit-picking merry-go-round.

So please, it is my earnest request that you keep this thread to sign ups.

**Choose a fixed 5, and as many substitutes you think you may need.

Could you please clarify which information is necessary for signups?

Only fleet name and one contact? Or the full five player team?

EDIT: The reason I'm asking is that all previous tournaments required signups with at least 5 @handles, sometimes even character names and ship types. And since your tournament features restrictions that makes ship/character information relevant, I'd like to know if a correct signup post has to include this information.
