I recently noticed that Exploration is my weakest CXP and trying to catch up with it.

There are of course the 30m,45m,1h,2h that require biologists,geologists,astro,energy,reslab,devlab,w arp,etc doffs.

But all 20h Explorations assignments are one and only the same doff:

Research Lab Scientist for Reclaim Artifacts
Research Lab Scientist for Retrieve Artifacts
Research Lab Scientist for Recover Artifacts
Research Lab Scientist for Collect Artifacts
Research Lab Scientist for Return Artifacts
...

Research Lab Scientist for Scan Ruins
Research Lab Scientist for Survey Ruins
Research Lab Scientist for ??? Ruins
...

And even the new 6h 'exploration' (social!) assignments:

Research Lab Scientist for Adapt Map
Research Lab Scientist for Describe Map
Research Lab Scientist for Intersectional Analysis
Research Lab Scientist ???

And it's even 3 or 4 of them for every assignment.

I think that is a little overkill for this one type.

Options:
a) Add new assignments for different types
b) Require/Allow different types for these mentioned assignments
c) Reduce number of ResLabScis required

Since we're dealing with working with artifacts here, I don't see any reason the rather unloved Geologist specialization shouldn't be a boon to success. As for the new 6h "social" ones, honestly, I think those are more suited to Development Lab Scientists (the title seems to indicate they work in social and/or behavioral science anyway), and perhaps even Counselors could be useful here. Might be nice to get a little more use out of counselors than the inconvenient and underwhelming Counseling Appointment missions and picking up colonists....

Not entirely surprisingly, exploration is the one I have the least XP points in.

I might point out that all the 20h exploration missions are the *same mission* with slightly different names. So of course they use the same job.

Agree with the OP. When I was grinding my CXP I used ALL my RLS, regardless of color, so I could then stack with scientists of a higher quality. you will need at least one per 20 hr mission.

That said, Bio/Geo should be slots able inputs up front.

Well in that case my complain is, that there is only 1 mission
