It is stated that Very Rare Bridge Officers have a 75% increased trait when compared to a Rare Bridge Officer, or an Uncommon Bridge Officer.

Uncommon = 25%
Rare = 50%
Very Rare = 75%

What then, are the traits for 'Common' Bridge Officers? 0?

All boffs have 4 traits. The rarity of the boff determines the "potency" of some of the traits: a Basic trait is ~50% as powerful as a normal trait, and a Superior one is ~150% as powerful.

• Common boffs have 2 Basic traits.
• Uncommon boffs have 1 Basic trait.
• Rare boffs have 1 Basic and 1 Superior trait.
• Very Rare boffs have 2 Superior traits.

But here is the catch.

Races have required traits, so a Bajoran will always have the Spiritual trait but that is not the catch ... the catch is the system is entirely random, meaning you can get a Science Officer with Superior Aggression, something that you usually DONT want as they are your Healers and De/Bufffers.
