There was some issue with certain rows on the tray awhile back, thought they fixed that in a patch. I switch ships and they remember the powers and even the boffs now.

I know on some rows I don't use when I switch boffs it will add the powers. When they appear you should try moving them to a row you don't use, rather then removing them altogether, so next time they should be put there then where you don't want them to be.

I've been testing out this bug. It doesn't happen when you set the tray to 3 rows or higher display. It happens when you have two or one rows. Buttons 1-5 on the first row are bugged. Even when you change the row to 2 and up. The first 5 items will be deleted and can't be re-added. Buttons 6-8 stay. So for the time being switch to 3-4 row setup. Or don't use buttons 1-5. When in 1-2 setup.

I always run 3 rows and it happens to me. I have been trying to find a pattern and it all is very random. I tried changing my instance, as mentioned earlier as a solution to the problem, and that made no difference. I was able to get my abilities back to where I wanted them when I restarted. I noticed if I scroll through my rows and I make a duplicate row, all abilities equipped in both rows disappear. After this happens my abilities seem unable to reequip. I am very careful whenever I change ships now and already have had it happen a couple of more times.

I also always play with 3 rows, and the ship weapon tray and the bridge officer ability tray.

Also are you implying that you can have more than 3 rows displayed?

No. When you select 4. It disables the BOFF menu. That's what I meant. This bug is random then. It only happens to me when I used 1 and 2 rows only. But when I selected 3 or 4. It stopped.

Same happened to me. Logged in and power tray is empty, after reloading it yesterday cause tray was empty. Power tray is locked, so yes this is annoying bug. Have submitted bug report. So should you.

I found another solution a while back. This seemed to always happen when changing ships. I go to the stations tab, change the Boff to none then change it back to whom it was. The icons reappear back in their respective slots. I always have all 3 rows showing but it still happens on occasion until recently. Seems to be a bug with using the same Boffs on both ships because since I spec'd out new Boffs for the other ship and used those instead, the problem went away.

I tried that, didn't work.

So far the change instance thing has worked the best for me.

i have the same prob's as you guys, i keep all my powers in the same slots across all ships but now i cant slot them hardly anywhere. and please fix the fleet roster bug, its driving me nuts seeing all my alts online at the same time
