I don't think forum rules allow me to use your @handle, but you're the guy that started last night's KA Space Elite run with a PUG, and left about a minute into the mission. You'll remember that you told me off for being rude by bringing a shuttle, which you considered to be an inferior ship, to an event where serious STFers were attempting to accomplish optional objectives, obtain accolades and get good gear. You'll also remember that you went on to accuse me of ruining the mission, before exiting the system (thereby incurring an hour long STF leaver penalty), and subsequently adding everyone in the group to your /ignore list.
Well, with your best interests at heart, I thought I'd clarify the situation so that you don't incur similar unnecessary STF leaver penalties in the future.
You see, I wasn't in-fact, flying a shuttle of any kind. I was actually flying a Prometheus class escort, using a holo-emitter costume of a freighter. Holo-emitters are devices, purchasable from an NPC at Quark's bar, that replace your ship costume with a holographic costume of another vessel, effectively giving you fun costume options in PvE missions.
You MAY have noticed the size of the ship I was flying to be between 10 to 15 times that of any other shuttle in-game, which might have been your first clue. The holographic flicker and sound FX of the costume might have also suggested to you that I wasn't flying a shuttle, but if not, then the firepower coming from my "shuttle" may also have been a likely indicator.
In any event, you'll be pleased to know that despite your abrupt departure, your spot on the team was filled within seconds, and we effortlessly completed the mission, while you continued to enjoy your leaver penalty.
I wanted to take the time to educate you as to what had transpired, so that you didn't make the same mistake in the future, because after all, you were really the only one that suffered any consequences from having left the team.
