I was thinking more Bill Murray in Groundhog day. It would explain why I keep playing but get no where with the Ker'rat mission.

Just want to see what people thought, and if they have any insight into this.
It's like comic books. Spiderman has been around for like 60 years, but its only been like 10 his time.

I suggested to Cryptic that they should redo the Mission Page and have the original missions listed as 2409, then having the Featured Events like Mid-2409, and the newer missions as 2410. That way you can have a feel of progress without having to redo missions to have them fit in.

Time moves very slowly in game. In reality less than one year has passed.
Very much like 1 years content released over 2 years.

There is also the consideration that much, if not all of the storyline has already been planned out to varying degrees by Kestral (STO's writer). So, despite technical delays that is likely the main force behind what sets the date/advancement of time.

I was watching Phineas and Ferb with my kids the other day. The title sequence includes the words "104 days of summer vacation...". About 125 episodes in, Phineas says, "You're right, Ferb. It does feel like more than 104 days."

There are some things we must accept if we are going to just enjoy the game. On my list of problems with STO, this one isn't even close to the top.
