Following the recent issues in the account server security of Cryptic my account was forced a password reset. I followed the reset password procedure, but my email provider has changed and deleted my account from more than a year now. I am not able to complete the reset password registration and I am cutted out of my account.

I have already sent the ticket to customerservice@perfectworld.com

Please let me know how can I resolve this issue. Can't loose a two year worth an account.

once you get in contact with customer service and verify you own the account its a very easy process for them to switch over your original email you no longer have access to, to your current one. just have to be patient and you will not lose anything.

Ok, so I've been contacted by customer support by email and I was asked to give a valid U.S. phone number to talk me trough the reset process. But I am European, how could I possibly have an U.S. phone number? Why not ask fot a skype contact or a live chat like it used to be in early days of Cryptic customer service?
So I sent by email all data they could possibly need (and asked in the email) to confirm my identity and I'm now waiting for a new reply.
While I'm confident that the issue will be resolved, it's been more than 5 days in which I could not play the game. I am a gold account, so I pay my subscription monthly. I hope that Cryptic will provide me with a refund for the days of game I lost because of their server issues. And I suppose I'm not the only one who would espect that from Cryptic, aside from lifers who could not expect anything but a "sorry...again...for this further problem"

I have sent 4 email change requests.
I sent all the information needed to restore my main account "sodrick1"

And the cryptic writes me: Status: Solved

No, I'm sorry, but my account has not yet been placed ...

I am a gold account. Why should I lose all my PG and all my data?

I'm pretty fed up with them. I've just about come to the conclusion that this game is no longer running out there. I have tried numerous times to log in and the error I get is the Account server is not responding. So I have to assume they have totally shut down the game and are not responding because the employees have all left.

Two weeks and no response to my ticket?

I think so too. I am now 10 days that have closed my gold account. I have deleted all the PCs ... All Cryptic points, and now? If an open flame, ban you.
I canceled the subscription and I'm going to get compensation for their losses. Monday I will talk to my lawyer for me to return all the money I paid.

I feel for ya...

it is crazy even when you have all the details and info needed they still are acting deaf/dumb/blind...

Whenever I ask for additional info and i get it, I go to work...!

But I am sorry and I need to say this:

I wish you the best of luck on your quest; but I wont hold my breath.

And I honestly believe you'll pay alot more for you lawyer than you did paying for you membership...

I highly doubt you'll ever see your money back... I do hope (I really do) you can get your account back however.

Perhaps its about time to create a precedent with these 'features'... Costumers are not being heard, and if they do its only after 2-3 weeks... wtf?

I am supporting you if you do want to go ahead with this case. I am actually wondering what this would do.

perhaps try and make a sign list...(peoples voice)

And I suspect my post may get deleted or edited/censured...

If so, then I already said what I wanted to say.

I feel you

just got my password changed lastnight but after serveral trys
first one said my e-mail was invalid
2nd said e-mail was valid but would let me change my password
3rd time it let me change it

but why wasn't i sent a e-mail saying crypticc was hacked & you should change your passwords



I just got done going throw my toons & everyone had there items & credits down to a few thousand & the fleet back was the same with my toons taking all the items & credits out.

For you who used paypal to pay the sub amount, try and open a paypal controversy for being prived of the service fruition.
It's not much, but who knows. Maybe Cryptic will reply to paypal if not to us.

Finally ... I had to call the cryptic to the phone to get my online account. 11 days after ... no mail has solved the problem. Only a phone call solved the thing.
