Thank you for the constructive criticizim. Your modifications are definately acceptable, and I didn't think about a unique ship trait instead of a unique console. Glad to see some positive feedback instead of more flaming/QQ.

This sounds more like a Super Battleship than a Super Escort. If this kind of stuff was on a ship twice as large as the Odyssey with a turn rating of 4, it would sound more viable.

My advice when dreaming up new ship build idea’s, is to look at what already exists, copy it, and then modify it slightly. Use the rule that no ship can have any more than 12 Bridge Officer Abilities, no ship can have more than 10 console upgrades and last, no more than 4 device slots.

Also remember, Escorts must have weaker hulls and should not have a better shield modifier than science vessels of equal tier.

We have several Warships actually, The Fleet Escort, The Advanced Escort (and it's MVAE variant) and the Defiant to list Tier 5. Add to that the the previous 3 (defiant isn't being counted at Tier 4) and than add the 4 costumes for each and you've got 28 Warships of various levels of Canon, not including the customisation options players have. It says it's a Defiant Class, use the Black Hull and the ship is already in the game.

I don't care what the book says, there is no way a Defiant has the space to store three times the weapons of a Galaxy. Your Boffs are out that's 13 abilities, Drop the Universal to an Ensign. And to be honest 9 Consoles is the standard here, I see the Flagships as the exception not the revision of the rule. The new Atrox Carrier is back to 9 Consoles.

I would be happy if they released a Fed escort with the same console layout as the Jem'Hadar attack ship! Say a heavy escort retrofit or fleet escort retrofit!
