Carriers have very good control over their combat pets. But the other ships like multivectors cannot directly control their detached pets. I often find my two other parts idling in space or doing nothing or they attack objects they are not supposed to. We urgently need reliable pet control for the other ships!!

Carriers have good control? I would beg to differ. The 4 buttons I have for pets are inadequate. Most of the time they don't do anything and half the time they do the wrong action. Also there is no way of knowing the status of a pet without clicking on it(if you can find it to click on it). There should be a small window similar to the UI on the ground for boffs. That way i can give one squadron an escort/guard command and another a attack. Also there seems to be no way to differentiate between your pets and another on your teams.

So it is a yes to the OP post, but I want to expand it to improve the UI for all.

BTW in CoV the masterminds pet control was very good. Try and repeat that in this game.
