Agree 100% and have been told basically the same thing.

One of my sci toons "LURA", which the Klinks know all to well is focused fired on constantly to point in any KvF match she joins, it has become "Look, Lura just joined? Everyone! Get her!" Over and Over and Over for the past 2 years. It really seems like that is what is happening. Skilling pure defense has been the only survival tactic available and that typically doesn't work well since Feds rarely play as a team and heal/protect each other. So when the Carrier was introduced, Lura had to adapt which is why she is now in a carrier...She can fling Danubes all day and issue some "payback" and LOL in the process for once while watching a Klink get chased halfway accross the map by a pack of stalkers and danubes.

Between Klinks having Cloaks period (I know it's canon and isn't going to change but it's still a huge advantage), enhanced damage burst after dropping out of cloak, the uber utilitarian BOP and the P2Win consoles Feds don't get access to like the ridiculously overpowered siphon drones and the "stupidly annoying and spawning like it's raining Skittles" aceton assimilators as mentioned by brian334, I feel like, which I believe many others Feds may, that the Danubes are such a "minor" inconvenience for Klinks and takes nothing away but "maybe" the 15-0 scores in Arena or the 0 vs 20 to 30+ kills for each Klink in CnH. Also, many skills are available to negate tractors, use them.

Oh and before I go, one thing I never use to do was heal...always focused on either staying alive or getting my few kills in. Now I can actually do both and maybe this introduction of the Caitian Carrier in general will help Feds become better team players when all is said and done. Since none of us work for Cryptic, we have no idea why they really do anything unless we are told directly by them. Everything else is guessing or pure speculation. So, I guess we will see...

But in the mean time, Danubes will be flung! Have a nice day!

Oh god...

First of all, we don't care the name of u character and his story, this is pvp, no role play

Second: If ppl always focus fire on you, can be for 2 reasons:
a) u are a easy kill
b) u are a Top player, so they will try to take u down first.
My choice is a)

Third: Klingon Cloak are only usefull in bop, for crusiers is just a fancy toy. And the only ship with a battle clock is the BoP, but the BoP have 1 Boff slot less (minor detail uh?), and is the most fragile ship in the game, even with cloak is very hard keep alive a BoP. Try to fly a BoP, then comeback and tell me how ubber it is.
My main toon is the fed, i really can't remeber the last time that a BoP was a challenge for me, with distribute shields+tactical team (and rsp in last instance) they will never gonna kill me with the attack bonus after decloak, so how uber the cloak is? maybe the problem is that u don't know how to stop an alpha strike...Until they don't fix the torpedos mechanics, BoP are just Fun for kill noobs, and turn ppl crazy in kerrat

Fourth: I'm agree that shipons drones and aceton beams are OP, but the solution is give to fed another OP so is "balanced"? that is not balance, is just more things breaking the game. And your argument is all about FvK...now tell me, what about FvF? or KvK?
Danubes are not an incovinient only for Klinks, they are an inconvinient for ALL OF US. IF u do pvp u should know that FvF queques are the most popular. Why u don't drop your carrier and try to play with any other ship, a fed escort maybe, and tell me how fun it is when u can't move in all the game with 8 tractor beams stacked on you? Really funny

Maybe Cryptic DOES know how horrid these Runabouts are and they do fully intend on 'fixing' them (I use that term lightly), but they released them and the Atrox in it's disgustingly OP state to generate sales and will only fix it when sales slow down?

But it is quite ironic that they'd release this utterly experience ruining batch of upgrades right after saying they realize PvP is in a poor state.

To start I don't mind Feds have some payback balance issues assuming it gets fixed & accounted for prior to rolling out Season 6. Also, you've ignored quite a long history of broken Fed crap as well as just in general broken crap that continues to this day and it's too long a list for me to rattle off. People are fed up (no pun intended) w/broken crap by design or otherwise.

Which brings me to my main point. I most certainly know why they (Cryptic) do what they do to PvP. They flat out don't care nor have cared since launch about basic PvP balance let alone any kind of PvP end game. They've admitted they've gone 2+ years w/o anyone assigned to the task. The main executive has already couched the lack of invested resources based on crappy player interest (yet ommits the years of a crappy product if you can even call it that).

Lastly, lately there's been more complaints from Feds then KDF. The reason is the pets die when the ship dies. Generally, KDF are better at DPS.

Chroniton torpedoes don't remotely care. The runabouts have them too. So yes, if you escape the 8 tractor beams you still move like molasses.
