I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was just doing something terribly wrong--i.e. sucking it up. It seems to happen to me at least once per Borg STF. I often draw aggro is my Escort due to damage output, and will just randomly take multiple tens of thousands of damage out of nowhere; generally ranging between 30k and 70k in a single hit. It's rather ridiculous; even with shield facings up. Doesn't make any sense.

This thread is perhaps the 100th on the same issue and yet not a single response on this matter or a fix even in sight. I guess the brst answer will be: "Look a this new Foundry Spotlight!"... seems to be the only spotlight and solution at cryptic these days.

Well, their kinda IS a fix now...

Get a carrier with out, and have them set their fighters on intercept. Problem solved.

that doesnt always work trust me. I got 1 shot 3 times yesterday on my carrier with intercept. The invisible killers can still toast you.

atleast it happens much less often as it was at the beginning. So they flattened out some spike dmg, but not all. 9 out of 10 elite STF's i can tank the tactical cube without dying ever during the whole stf...but then only this one time out of ten it is something invisible that gets me...and i rage^^

i can actually live with it as it is now, should they ever fix it that would be great. If not, it's not a big drama for me.

Until now they signifficantly improved elite gameplay. Started with the drop of the enemy lvl to 50 from 52, and the "quasi" illimination of crits caused by NPC's (those were really nasty^^)

every match i play i see someone getting killed buy the one shot kill and every so often its me. like its completely random and its the only way i ever die in the matches and its really annoying as if you havnt heard that before. if its not going away anytime soon atleast add a graphic for the shot so it might feel like we atleast got hit by something instead of just blowing up lol.

I am not against the weapon in principle but it should always have enough graphics priority to appear on the screen so that it can be avoided or dealt with. An alert sound would also be in order and helpful. At least to most people, I am going on 4 months with no audio myself but that is another matter.
