05-15-2012, 06:45 AM
I have never leveled a Klingon character, and Im currently level 31 sci. I want the Vo'Quv cause I always wanted to fly a carrier(at the time only klingons had them and Im not shelling 25 for a ship) but heres my question. Are the ships you buy for the carrier one use only or are they like the scorpion fighters? ie more then 1 use? 'preciate any help on this.
Also going to be built around STF only.

They're persistant. You keep using the same item - in fact, you use the same items twice to get the maximum number of your fighter wings deployed.

(The "consumable" inventory fighter items generally say how many charges they have, or just say "Consumed on Use" in the description)

ah, thanks for clearing this up. I usually go to the Stowiki to research stuff before I get into something. And seeing how the wiki doesnt say not consumed on use for the fighters or drones.

Remember in some stf BoP work fine (but todju are more) in Infected for example the tactical cube you can help your team if you use the Power Siphon Drones (blue) they work fine against shields

Thanks! I had to stay away from the KDF cause the red hud gave me migraines when i play. But now my eyes have gotten used to it I guess. And unlike most people, I research before going into any of my decisions, hence why I asked about the fighters and what not.

Also kinda of a side note or random tangent, but does anyone else think that the fed side has too much content? I started playing this kdf toon again and find it refreshing to not have so many missions and so.

Siphon pods are not has necessary has they once were when dealing with Elite Tactical Cubes.

I treat my Advanced Bird of Prey as the end all be all that Vo’Quv ever needs to use.

Using Tykends Rift and Target Subsystems Shields 3 I can completely shut down the shields of any NPC target for about 15 seconds and my ABOP can pretty much take anything without shields down in short order.

While I wouldn't say they have too much content we certainly don't have much. And to be honest a few more Mission Arcs would be real nice for us. The two Klingon Arcs are quite fantastic and Alpha is by popular accord one of the best missions in the game. I would really love them to say we're working on another Arc for the KDF.

And in case nobody made it super clear, a Pet is like a weapon you mount it it's always there they are not consumed like devices. A pet can be launched twice per a Hanger, two BoPs mounted = four Launched Bops.

Following the nerf to the power siphon drones, the B'rolth BOP have stepped up the list as my new favorites, and add nicely to my khg boat with 2 quantum tac consoles that fires a Mk XII borg quantum every 2 seconds. together me and my frigates can **** borg transwarp gates so fast it makes multiple AP DHC escorts jealous. i can recommend that.

I fly a Vo Quv also, and this sounds interesting.

Can you explain, please, how you fire a Quantum Torpedo every two seconds?
