I have all the commendation categories at Level 4, except for Colonial & Recruitment. These seem to be taking a long time to level up. I'm at about 47k on each and the DXP earned from assignments seem low.

Is anyone else finding that these are slower to level? I don't really have a problem finding Colonial assignment, and pick-up a few Recruitment ones here or there.

Any suggestions to speed this up? Am I missing something here?

Also, what is the assignment timer reset for Recruitment from the personnel officer at SFA?

actually over several toons, those always go really fast.

One trick you can do is do the pick up colonists and then dismiss them.

Also for colonials, the acadmies are an excellent spot. Often there are tons of colonials. Check your ops if they arent in sector. Many of these are short 2-3 hours and only take 1-2 officers so you can spam them without having several DOs tied up for 20 hours

May be the 45-60min assignment are the issue for me. I am so used to racking up the 8 hour assignment in the morning and turning them in after work for decent DXP. Back to the grind then

assuming you've finished all your colonial chains, support assignments give both colonial and recruitment cxp

I'm having a similar dilemma, all my tiers were at Tier 4 about two weeks ago at least and now it's just Recruitment i'm running around for lol. I've taken to doing all the recruitment missions on ALL my fed toons, mailing them to my main toon and he then exchanges them for higher quality doffs that I then sell. It's pretty slow but it's doing my EC bank balance no harm!

Also - if you do a LOT of STFs and you've got EDC's stacking up in your bank, take 100 of them, go to DS9, grab 5 rare quality doffs from the STF Store and trade those up to a random purple - I think thats about 600CXP right there. It's expensive, but the finished result is quite nice as many MANY of the doffs i exchange for, regardless of tier seem to get Resolve, you might get some rather pleasing results...

You guys remember the "Before Time" ? When doffing didn't rule us? That was a dark, dull time ^___^

On a similar note, anyone found any places that are particularly regular sources of Resettle Colonists? I can never find enough of them to run the colonization missions, and have had to start abducting cadets and marooning them halfway across the quadrant. I'm worried the Commandant is going to notice.

I found the Star Clusters in the Klingon sector (Omega Leonis) a great resource for Colonist assignments. You need Diplomatic Immunity to cross the border. (T'Ong Nebula, D'kel Star Cluster, Eridon nebula, Azlesa Expanse)

AH HA! Thank you. I've just been grouching about the severe drought of Resettle Colonists in Fed territory lately.
