This is a solution for the patchlient error,this Star Trek Online.exe was uploaded by BDS.But he's using rapidshare.Now I'm reupload it in mediafire incase there's some people who can't download the rapidshare version file.

It's in a rar (launcher version 2012.11.1914,rar filesize 2.66 mb,real file size 8.47 mb). Just copy and paste the file to the Stra trek online folder (or just use find target/open file location in the shortcut properties)

Day late and a dollar short... I just uploaded the file to mediafire too. But I see it has already been done. Sorry for the delay, that thing called work just gets in the way. If I could only win the lottery and then I would be in game 24/7. Ok, maybe not.

How exactly are we supposed to get this to work? I tried putting the .exe in pretty much any folder I could find related to the game and it still ran the launcher and still failed.

I'd really like for this to work because I just spent literally fourteen hours trying to download this game and I haven't even been able to start yet because my download speed is that slow.

If anyone could help me out with this, that would be great.

The file goes right under the Cryptic Studios directory, and should replace the existing one. In my case, it is located at: C:\Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios.

Still not working with the .exe in the STO folder. Is this the first time this has happened for STO?
