Irregardless of what fleet you join, IMOHPO, don't join any fleet that sends you blind invites.
If they talk with you a little, maybe ask politely if you be'd interested, well..they might be a better choice.

Thanks to everyone for some great advice. I'll post my profile and interests as suggested and see if I can find a matching fleet. I want to feel part of something, not just a blind number.
