There are a lot of great recommended missions out there. There were too many to play all of it through so I thought I'd narrow it down.

I ranked the mission if someone recommended or favourited one. I mined the Mission Database subforums' stickied favourite post and Kirsplats SBUGC list of great mission post. As well as any posts asking for favourites or recommendations on the STO forums, Reddit, SBUGC, and pretty much anything I found by looking through google. And I counted a spotlighted mission as one recommendation. I grouped missions of a series as one.

TOP TEN RECOMMENDED FOUNDRY MISSIONS

ONE.

Title:Tipping Point
Author:Altexist

THREE.

Title:The Syndicate Extraction

FIVE.

Title:City of Polmar Ree
Author: ?
Mission Summary:?, the mission can't be found in game.

SIX.

Title:Purity Series
Author: StarbaseUGC various authors
Mission Summary:The Federation has been in the throes of war on multiple fronts for multiple years and Starfleet has directed it priorites from exploration and science to efforts to sustain its military machine in all sectors of the quadrant...

This would have been higher because each episode has been spotlighted, but I'll just count them as one.

SEVEN.

Title:Infinitesimal Frontier
Author: dixonium
Mission Summary:As a mysterious contagion sweeps through the ranks of the Federation Council, a high-ranking Starfleet official lies dying, his very mind under seige. The doctors of the Asclepius develop a daring, if utterly unconventional plan. It now falls to a brave captain to push the limits of Federation science in an effort to repel a terrifying new foe.

EIGHT.

Title:Not Our War
Author:Zondi
Mission Summary:When Starfleet Command tasks you with investigating an anomoly in the Badlands, the unexpected happens that sends you and your crew into one of the bloodiest wars in recent history.

NINE.

Title:Relics

Mission Summary:The Klingon Empire is occupying a planet for unknown reasons. You are sent to investigate why the Klingons are so concerned with a world of insignificant military value.

TEN.

Title:Spawn of Medusa Series
Author: Duke-of-Rock
Mission Summary:Spawn of Medusa: You have been ordered to the Pi Canis Sector immediately and rendezvous with Admiral Fedrikson on the USS Crazy Horse in the Seedea System. A Klingon acquaintance of yours has requested Federation assistance in a serious matter that could affect the quadrant.

ELEVEN. Since number five is missing in-game.

Title:Unholy Alliance Series
Author: soriedem
Mission Summary: Slave Action. A contact on Drozanna Station has some disturbing information. A cadreof mercenaries, smugglers and pirates are selling crewmen as slave labour from several vessels they raided from the frontlines. She endangered her life in order to get us this information. It appears she was abducted for it. Someone needs to investigate her disappearance. Someone has to rescue those crewmen and bring those responsible for these crimes to justice.

Tweleve. Since it was a tie with the last few.

Title:War and Q
Author:RogueEnterprise
Mission Summary:Starfleet has asked you to join with the task force and speak to the Remans, who wish to open negotiations regarding their colony's continued persecution by the Romulans.

But one of the omnipotent Q beings has taken note of your involvement. Is the Q out to cause havok, or dies she have something to tell you about the Remans' intentions?.

For ties I resorted to the amount of highest five star ratings. If it was tied with a series I would select the highest five stars in the mission set.

The first few missions I suspect were earlier foundry missions. They have comparatively a few hundreds of plays but were highly recommended on the STO forums.

This is a bit more than ten, but on the StarbaseUGC forums I have posted a list of all Foundry missions I have five-starred.

It was by Alimac30, the same author for the most recent fed spotlight. I believe it is currently withdrawn due to some big game break errors but I am not 100% on that.

Just started this one last night. Holy crap, what a cool cliffhanger ending for Pt 1.

Just getting started on the Foundry missions actually (spotlight). Very impressed thus far. Worlds better than the official missions, not to slam the dev team.

"The Mayns of Balnar Moon" and "Malleus Maleficarum" are two others I have tried recently and also extremely well done. Even a little unsettling at times. If Paramount ever commissioned a "horror" version of Trek, these two would certainly fit.

Just finished Part One of this. This was an astonishing mission. The idea of witnessing (and taking part in) one of the purportedly most devastating events in Trek history was by itself worth the price of admission.

The sense of darkness begins almost immediately and launches you into one "Aw hell" scenario after another. The choice that you are given on how to process mid-point is genius and every battle, ground and space, is white-knuckle all the way.

Ended like a season-end cliffhanger and just to savor how good this was, I'm taking a break from playing just to tease myself for more. I'll play Part Two in a few days, if I can stand it.

This was just awesome.
