this thread will be for players to suggest a ships specs for review i will start with the tin man from the next gen series.

fore weapons 3
aft weapons 3
hull 50000
shield modifier 1.5
base crew 200
basic turn 15
device slots 3
engineering slots 4
tactiacl slots 4
scince slots 4
+ 5 to all subsystems
level 3 photonic shock wave
comander level tactical
comander level scince
comander level engineer
2 univeresal lt stations

the ship being telepathic grants efficency if the boff does not have it a telepathic captin who flies a tin man get a plus 10 to all skills while on ship if he switches to any other ship except shuttle crafts - 10 to all skill.



so how is it unbalanced the odessys have 10 slots mabye its the three comanders so drop the two universal but most of the va ship have three of one type of officer example escort three tacticals and little of the others so i just wanted to use all bridge officers to the max.

now to truly munchkin the ship as it is telepathic it can use any of the skills that your captin can train a bridge officer in give 1 more weapon slot for and aft let it mount cannons and decrese cool down time by 75% dont forget firing while cloaked 1 hanger bay and a 360 degree spinal phaser

I would really like to see a Gomtuu like ship in STO. (Gomtuu was the ships real name.)
It could be a nice mission arround it. Like saving one of it from the Hirogen hunters.
A smaller version could be nice as a players ship, but it should be very different from other ships. It should have no slots for any devices, consoles and weapon, shields, engine but have some abbilities by them self. That might be the one ship i would buy. But it must have a very good interior.

I thaught of that too, but the Gekli have a much closer symbiosis to their pilots then the Gomtuu. Gomttu would be better usable for Starfleet. I think Geklis are unarmed.
I put a little more thaught into it. No real specs like in the original post, but some things. Similiar to the Shuttles the Gomtuu should have two 360? Weapons, but not in slots, so you cant change them.
