I would be happy to see one side or the other get something new. Turning both factions into an EXACT copy of each other is a horrible idea.

The way i see it we feds are the biggest whiners and this thread proves that we keep wanting for more "shinies" .

if kdf whines are that bad then push cryptic to give them the love that we feds receive from them, their demand for fleshed out faction are more valid than this idea for more ships. Idc for new ships for content like 2800 (which is based on feds pov with swallow kdf tie in) and idc for anything for us feds, even though space stations for both faction is a plus and egc as well is fine but KDF needs some love as well.

I'd love to have a heavier version of the stalker fighters.

I dont like using the other fighter types on my atrox because they dont really match the look and feel of the carrier, so I'm stuck using stalkers. If we had some kind of Caitian heavy fighter or light escort as a hangar option, launching a single craft (max 2 per hangar) instead of three craft (max 6 per hangar), it'd at least give some variety.

I'd say give it tetryon beams instead of turrets, make it a bit larger but similar in design and color to the stalkers, and give it quantum torpedoes and some kind of special attack.
