Thanks SO MUCH for all your support, and we'll see you in-game!
did you forget to accept and do the promotion mission to talk to the admiral. you might have to return and talk to him he gives you a token for a ship at lvl 10 20 30 and 40. check in your mission log for a mission named [Promotion] normally with green letters. if its not there look in your avalible quests for it. If neither check by esd admiral office see if he gives it to you.
Well, turns out that was the issue. Got my ship, good to go. Thanks for the tip!
That being said, someone should sticky this so people can post their tips for dilithium acquisition.
If you're not bound by the refining cap I have no idea how you're not swimming in the stuff. I have more than I could possibly need (all the more ironic considering they took down the Ker'rat daily) considering I can only make 8,000 of it useful per day, and half the time I couldn't even tell you where it comes from.
If you go on the Available Missions tab, just look through them all. There are at least seven or eight dailies, all of which give anywhere from 480 to ~1,400 a pop. Add that onto DOffs, the Academy, STFs and so on and you'll have too much in no time.

cool. I had that issue on one of my alts due to the guy not actually giving me credit for talking to him. If i hadnt had the issue myself i wouldnt of known the problem lol.
Investigate Officer reports pays 1440 dil. Accept it and search the player made missions for 'quickie'
Yummy Dilithium once a day for next to no work!
Or search "nagus" and grab his dailies you run a fairly quick mission but I feel its a bit more legitimate than some of the missions people have put out. "Hail A, mission complete cya tomorro."

I have to say that I really have no misgivings at all about advancing in the game regardless of whether or not it's legitimate after paying $380 for this game only to have it go free-to-play two years later.
Heck, I reached Captain from Commander 24 in a week by doing nothing but sending my duty officers off on assignments and then rinse and repeating the next day.
True but in my experiance the nagus dalis have a tendancy to drop god loot from at least oen ship. Plus you can do them at wolf 359 for fed characters.
simple way to do it i have done is just get as many contraband as you can and then just do the turn in confisated contraband 4 times a day , you donty have to spend much time doing it as long as you got enough contraband and can log in for a min or 2 every 2 hours

Seconded on that. You can even create an alt, get them up to 7th level which is where I believe the doff missions start and just use them to turn in contraband. Just mail them stacks of the stuff from your first character.
On the other hand, I have just shy of 1k in cpoints now and not much that I want to spend it on.
