Dr Who has been very good at times! Also, as far as I know it's the longest running sci-fi show by quite a margin. Trash tends not to have that kind of longevity.:p

Exactly, with two separate runs either the same (with no quit in sight) or much longer than TNG, we can see who the superior show is. Plus I can watch Dr. Who episodes over and over, while TNG episode reqatches for me consist only of "Best of Both Worlds" The rest I just can't stand to watch anymore

And don't forget all the Doctor Who Novels, Comics, Full-Cast Audio's, Audio Novels, Reference Materials. I wish Star Trek would have a range of Full-Cast Audio, but I suppose the number of Actors you need and the costs of same would be prohibitive
