Your right! I'm american, HOWEVER, I agree with you. This actually is as much of a pain for us too though. All we can do is be patient and hope our voices are heard. It would be easier for us if this was done late at night when we're all asleep. :-)

First time I've seen downtime extended for an hour in this game. It's not so bad, but this will lead to STO withdrawal . Here's hoping you get it going soon - and please no more downtime extensions!

As for the European time vs. American time, I have a feeling that at some point, Cryptic polled the server to see what the lowest server population was, and this is it. Not sure if they continue to do so, but it wouldn't surprise me. That's early morning for the PST'ers among us, morning for the EST, and roughly 3PM GMT... so the server population will likely only go up later in the day.

I personally wouldn't care if the time was changed, but as it seems to be a ritual at this point, I don't see much chance of it happening.

if your looking to balance it take it like this
Current : 0700 to 0900 Pacific Time (1400 to 1600 UTC)
New : 0200 to 0400 Pacific Time (0900 to 1100 UTC)

with the new time usa lose some and euro lose some, of coruse i dont take in the usa time zones just the Pacific Time quoted via message
