Well played it once ... waited for 20minutes in the Queue ... played for 10-15 minutes with random team ... failed ... tried it again ... 20min in Queue ... too late the hour was already over ... thank god for gated content ...
= stopped even trying it ... like Defera and other gated stuff ....
Pretty much same story, although I did get to fail it 2x with PUGs before time expired.
I don't even look at the events anymore to see when the time gated stuff is running.
I fleet ran it one night for a it's full duration, I didn't really have a lot of fun. Shuttles/Fighters aren't fun to play on and the whole thing was pretty boring. Also from a storyline view, given the size of the interior space of the Vault and the fact that you can easily fit a D'deridex in there I find it funny why we would risk our lives going into that sea of blades without our main ship. Even if it was just escort/raptor/bop/sci ship only it would have made some sense.
All I see with this event was wasted opportunity with interior ship combat, I do hope to see more interior combat or at least fighting just miles above a ecumenopolis during night or day time which would be amazing. Imagine seeing Defiants and BoPs dogfight while avoiding hitting massive futuristic skyscrapers.
-Long queue wait times
-High PUG fail rate
-Mission bugs, where even if you successfully completed run the mission timer continued to count down to a fail. (Don't know if this was ever fixed, but I ran into it 2 times)
-Power's Tray Bug resulting from switching from shuttle back to ship. (Again not sure if this was ever fixed)
-High chip requirements to build gear that is not that great.
For all these reasons I never played it past the first week. Will probably give it another chance down the road and see if any of these issues were fixed.
Quoted for truth; It's utter bullocks. I agree with everything this person said.
I played twice I think. Then I sat down and looked how much of those schematics were need for a single piece, and looked at the stats on the piece, and decided that the set isn't worth it, even if it wasn't time gated. Maybe, I'd consider doing it if it could be accessed ala STF style but alas, that won't happen.
