I have never tried it. I tried Defera Invasion once and did not like the way it was ... well ... time gated.

if u are after the set then id say pass its quicker to get xii stf set and u get dilitum and other loot too

Pretty much same story, although I did get to fail it 2x with PUGs before time expired.
I don't even look at the events anymore to see when the time gated stuff is running.

I fleet ran it one night for a it's full duration, I didn't really have a lot of fun. Shuttles/Fighters aren't fun to play on and the whole thing was pretty boring. Also from a storyline view, given the size of the interior space of the Vault and the fact that you can easily fit a D'deridex in there I find it funny why we would risk our lives going into that sea of blades without our main ship. Even if it was just escort/raptor/bop/sci ship only it would have made some sense.

All I see with this event was wasted opportunity with interior ship combat, I do hope to see more interior combat or at least fighting just miles above a ecumenopolis during night or day time which would be amazing. Imagine seeing Defiants and BoPs dogfight while avoiding hitting massive futuristic skyscrapers.

Fighters can be fun, but stealth detection would help allot, and as the stalker got essentially screwed unless you wanna use the Jem Hadar set, and go polaron...

I've never played the Vault OR the Deferta invasion. Ever. In the rare event I've been on at the right time for either, I wasn't looking at the calendar.

Hell, for that matter, I've never done the Mirror Universe event outside of tribble.

I played twice I think. Then I sat down and looked how much of those schematics were need for a single piece, and looked at the stats on the piece, and decided that the set isn't worth it, even if it wasn't time gated. Maybe, I'd consider doing it if it could be accessed ala STF style but alas, that won't happen.

I did once! It was by accident really, my fleet was doing them I happened to sign on at the right time.....just enough time for one run
