I've won CS 10 times, in over 100 STF Wins.
This mission is basically impossible to pug I swear.

I am terrible at this game. I have 7 Lv 50 accounts.

As alway, with PUGs, its always luck. Since season 6, more people came back to the game to check it out, many without a clue about anything, so those of us that like to PUG STFs have to deal with it.

That said, CSE is still far easier to PUG than any of the ground elites in my opinion... it's doable

CSE is the easiest space stf. Its also the easiest to turn into a bloody nightmare.

Ive done CSEs on my eng (in his escort so only doing about 6-8k dps) with a relatively useless d'kyr in the group (probably the lowest dps ship, ever ...) and we burned through it less than 5 minutes. This is functionally 4-manning it.

Then you hop in the queue and youre lucky if the other players can kill even a single bop before they get to the kang.

Can always try the Elite STF channel, rather than randomly queuing.

[Unrepentant] Lapo@overlapo: the problem with space STF
is that you can't properly teabag your defeated opponent

very difficult, but not impossible. i have won it easily several times, but as someone else stated, it can be a bloody nightmare.

i started focusing on kang exclusively and my win rate is better. i'm not a super player or have the best ship in the world. i just "protect" kang.

This is pretty much what I've started doing. No one ever seems to give a crap about defense, so I'm left handling it on my own most of the time; when I have a second player doing defense with me, I *know* we're going to win, albeit probably slowly, since everyone insists on popping one of the cubes before the probes are dead on the others. I run a bulldozer (gravity well, repulsors, tractor beam, chroniton torpedoes + spread 2/3, and web), and it's given me a better chance of success than anything else I own for this very reason.

IMO, the main problem is that Cryptic never scaled Kang's HP/Shields properly. If I recall, kang has about 900,000 HP on elite, yet the borg ships can burn through its shields and HP in about 5 seconds of sustained fire.
