K, so here's my build for my defiant that I "pilot" with my engineering captain. I had a really good pug match with this build, so I'm positive it's a good build. So what I'm looking for is not so much advice as just a lot of posts that I can disagree with. My goal is to be able to generate as many 1v1 matches as possible from this thread since 5v5 is ridiculous due to teams exploiting focus fire.

As you can tell, this build is extremely tough to kill. I really have a counter to anything ppl can throw at me which really makes me a 1 man army with no need for team support. I know an engy isn't a popular class to have in an escort, but my goal is to outlive e1 else on the team while providing a little dps pressure to annoy the other team. Imagine a graph with a bar. I sit on the far left side of the bar. Besides, building a high dps escort is simple, but building an escort that can tank anything is a real challenge. I walk to the beat of my own drum, and anyone that wants to disagree with this build is welcome to go 1v1 with me and I'll outlast the hell out of you. I'll outlast you right into the ground!

Forgot to mention I run 7 torps to keep my shield power up at 100

I Don't know.. 2 APD 1's might be op.. you might want to add in some Mine Dispersal Patters while not having any Mines in the aft weapons for true over kill.
