Other than that I really wish the Feds weren't getting alien ships... Starfleet officer shouldn't be gallivanting around the galaxy in anything other than Starfleet designed and built vessels... (Plus the two you picked happen to be centuries old by the time of STO...)

Tier 6, is highly unlikely. Because many people would be upset that their T5 C-Ship is now obsolete.

Don't be so sure.

A refit system has been all-but-confirmed as part of the Fleet Starbases in season six, with JamJamz on record as saying a +1 Sovereign is "definately" amongst the options.

Assuming Cryptic are clever, that refit system could easily be expanded to include other vessels.

Hopefully they will use the nemesis E design, nemesis final phase refit design http://johneaves.wordpress.com/2010/...final-small-2/ and a 2409 design for skins.

I personally don't want T6 ships. I would rather they all stay T5, because people paid for those ships, so it would be better to keep it T5. All good suggestions, though.

The New Orleans class is visual similar to the Galaxy-Class, the whole cannons thing come from Klingon designs, also there was no indication it would ever be used for that, in fact the Miranda class makes a more viable candidate considering WoK and that would be well before the New Orleans Class was ever shown.

Considering visual similarities it seems bot the New Orleans and the Galaxy come from the same design, either the New Orleans was created for testing the Galaxy or its a byproduct, just like the Nebula.

Either way, NO per-Battle of Wolf 359 should be a T6 ship unless its a retrofit.
