Hopefully I can skin my phaser battle rifle and omega carbine with it too. And some lobi crystals... We all know that tactical bling is what pwns borg.. :-D
Rather have Chrome skin than GPL, else I'd feel like I'm flying the models that are hanging hanging in my ready room. :p
TBH, it would be killer if the new skins made the ships appear to be more canonical than the already existing skins. But if that should ever happen, it likely be a free revamp for all.
We have seen a lot of Gold with these rewards so it makes sense. I agree with Azurian that Chrome would be more appealing (aka Silver Surfer instead of Academy Award). I'm at 826.32 days myself.
