After the ship explodes Hampton floats through the debris unable to move.
Hampton : computer coughs status.
Computer: primary systems offline.
Hampton : ok why can't I move.
Computer: all cybernetic limbs have been disabled. If you are not taken to a med bay for repair in 4 hours all systems will shut down.
Hampton: great well lets hope someone is out there looking for us.
*R.S.S. Odysseus. The Republic Fleet is back online and is conducting rescue operations. T'mar and an EMT team scramble onto the Odysseus' bridge to find Sam unconscious on the deck. T'mar runs to her and checks her pulse.*
T'mar: Get her to Sickbay!
*Outside. A Republic Frigate spots Hampton and beams him to their sickbay.
Sam is beamed to a Hospital on Dalos Alpha Prime when the EMTs decide she needs serious medical treatment.*
*Dalos Alpha Prime, Takara City Central Hospital. Critical Injuries Ward. Sam's lying on a bio-bed with life support equipment connected. Admiral Memphis is at her bedside. He felt that someone should be; she didn't really have any family left.*
OOC: Going offline. Be back tomorrow (16-17 hours)
Hampton soon wakes up in the medical bay an sits up taking a deep breath.
Hampton: what happened
Medic: your armor went into some kind of lock mode. We found you pass out when we arrived.
Hampton: well seems this suit is as good as they said begat about Sam and Tmar
Medic: they are down on the planet.
Hampton: thank you.
Hampton walks out and heads for a transporter pad.
*Admiral Memphis is still watching Sam when T'mar walks in, concerned.*
T'mar: How is she?
Memphis: The doctors say it's too soon to tell. *He notices a charred piece of metal in T'mar's hand.*
T'mar: The pendant her Dad gave her. We found it drifting in the debris.
Any word on the Dreadnought?
Memphis: Rescue ships found it in the Ocean. They're trying to treat the survivors, but they're still trying to get a headcount on A) how many survived, and B) who survived.
On the bright side, it looks like DeSalle's been dealt with once and for all.
T'mar: Yeah, there is that.
*She puts the pendant, heavily burned and twisted, on Sam's bedside before heading towards the door when her eyes glow a subtle blue. She turns around to see the pendant repairing itself and Sam's body beginning to heal itself. Memphis jumps in shock.*
Memphis: Dr Frost!
*A Doctor runs over, as T'mar lets a small smile develop on her face.*
*Lanco II Orbital Gate. An Iconian ship, though much MUCH smaller than a Mothership (Miranda-size) comes through the Gate and holds position as the gateway closes behind it.*
Cole: north we recieved the message. I am on my way.
North: very well. We will stand by. Iconian vessel stand by.
Meanwhile at an old star base bar Hampton walks up to a man in the corner.
Hampton: where is drake?
*Lanco III. Vala and General S'vak wait at the Transporter Room of the Alpha Site - a secondary base on Lanco that is separate from the Gateway.
An Iconian soon materialises on the Pad in a flash of white light. He is wearing white and gold robes with a sash over his left shoulder. The sash displays a gold-braided "infinity" symbol with another glyph in each loop. He looks at S'vak and Vala, before nodding to them.*
Bra'mec: Greetings. Which governments do you represent?
Vala: Praetor Vala of the Romulan Republic.
S'vak: General S'vak of the Imperial Klingon Defence Forces.
Bra'mec: I am Bra'mec of the Iconian High Council. Where are the Terran and Dominion representatives?
Vala: The Republic promised to send someone as soon as they were available. As for the Federation, Director Chester of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been authorised.
The Dominion have not yet responded to your request.
Bra'mec: Very well. Would it be possible for my ship to land?
S'vak: Absolutely not! The potential threa--!
Vala: What... General S'vak means is that due to security concerns, we cannot allow your ship to land at this time.
Bra'mec: I understand. Do you at least have chambers for me?
Vala: Of course. Lieutenant?
*A Republic Lieutenant escorts Bra'mec to his Guest Quarters.*
See when Cole will arrive. Have Admiral North meet me on the Shuttle Pad.
S'vak: As you wish. Praetor, remember that the KDF is more than wary of the Iconians.
Vala: Of course.
*Vala leaves and walks outside the Base to the Shuttle Landing Pad, currently unoccupied.*
