Agreed. You may want to search the forums as a couple of workarounds have been created to deal with it.

Thirded. Seriously, Facebook needs to be buried in the desert next to those old ET cartidges, not in your face and unable to get away from it. Even the 'Buy Zen' banners can be killed with adblocker or scroll away from them.

Facebook is sadly a very prevasive intrusion into human life

I would very muich appreciate it if the hovering facebook-and-other-links would be static. Its not the links that trouble me, but the fact that it moves around on screen. Every time I try to hide it by scrolling, it comes after me distracting me from more interesting parts of the website.

I just recognized that the stupid wasted space next too the "Edit your Avatar" thingy is ad space.

Just use Adblock Plus to kill it.. and you can also get rid of that Prefect World emblem at the top of the sight. (At least it's a small improvement. :p )
