I sure hope not..if the start at the end of the year , and the estimated release date is Feb '10 , thats only a month for the Closed and Open beta, that would be NOT GOOD.

Excellent news all around. Interesting how they were so deliberately vague with the Beta date.

It sounds as though they've tweaked the ground combat model significantly since the PAX demo.

You have to have a good long Closed and Open Beta so it doesn't fall on its face like every other MMO does on release. How about breaking that cycle with STO..

Im excited to try out the ground combat since I feel like I haven't seen that many aspects of it in videos. I know what to expect in space combat, but the away missions I'm still up in the air about. Glad to hear they are spending extra time on them though. sooo excited for the release!
