I have one, so i can buy most of the commodities for the upgrade. And it's not worth buying a 30M freighter for a small discount. It's a doffing tool, and it's way too expensive to make it profitable in any way.

I think it'd be easier for me to grind dilithium, get more lobi and acquire a Rule 62 Multipurpose Combat Console and either the Concentrated Tachyon Mine Launcher or Rapid Fire Missile Launcher for the set bonus which grants a Passive to reduces EC prices by 20% at Sector Space vendors.
