Are you trying to buy it as your Klingon toon? I admit I've never tried buying a ship I couldn't use but it lets you, just not claim it yet right?

No, it's my Fed. They won't let me buy anything above my rank. Basically I'd need to gain 25 levels this weekend if I want to make use of the sale.

Perhaps for the uninformed players. Typically, newly-released ships don't go to the ship sale until the next one. It's not unusual to see something like this to say the least. The Armitage won't be on this ship sale, but it's going to be on the next one.
