The federation fleet ships look really good. Better even, in the areas that matter. Am I the only one that feels that way?

If that's the case I'll be sad. I love the Marauder boff layout, imo it's the best tanking layout. I was hoping to get the Corsair skin with bonus hull+shields and consoles whilst retaining the boff layout.
The fleet corsair though they've gone and butchered it. I always thought a single sci Lt Cmder boff slot (instead of the current 2 lower tiers ones) might be interesting but this configuration will ruin it for me.

2x Lt Com eng boffs slots are a must. It's a cruiser not a carrier!
It's like giving the Armitage 1x Cmdr Tac and 1x Ensign tac slots and that's it. How can that be an escort without having all the tac slots? The flight deck cruiser is a cruiser and needs it's eng boff slots to match.

Also, 39k hull is the SAME as the Marauder, shouldn't it be more?

Almost the same ship, you trade 3k Hull, 250 crew for 1 more turn and ALOT better skin.
Its also listed as 200,000. I guess it doesnt need a Schematic or whatever the "Fleet" Versions need.

You will notice i'm talking about the VoQuv not the Karfi.

The karfi is a heavily armed carrier and for it the 4 forward weapon slots and 2 hangars is just right. It has its niche due to its unique fighters.

The new Defiant is the only one that really stands out to me as being questionable. Maybe we'll get a Pach Raptor Retrofit w/ 5 tac slots. I'm still at a loss as to why they bumped up the god awful ugly Somraw and not the Pach, so I'm crossing my fingers that it just hasn't been implemented yet.

Yeah! I'd really love to see this one. Getting rid of that useless tac. Ensign for an Engineer, nice andditional Sci console and slightly better turn.

The Galaxy-X also comes with a cloaking console, exactly the same as a Defiant, which is apparently up for the Fleet treatment.

So to reiterate, both of these ships have consoles.

Therefore I don't understand the rationale on why they are being left off of the fleet revamp list.

Al said they did not go in this at this time due to thier inherent abilities, the phaser lance and siege lance, could not be easily copied over to the starbase system for some reason.
