The Scorpion fighters work perfectly well in the escort carrier's device slot. So why not the Peregrine? How is it balanced that every other fed ship can use these, including the Atrox which has two hangar slots? And can use the Scorpions as well?

bug most likely. they probably didnt change the coding for it to be allowed on the HEC.

I noticed it as well, also the Scorpions dont work either. I just think its not a bug myself, and my fleet also thinks the same.

Just another on the list of "lists" they didnt update with "Heavy Escort Carrier". I think it is a bug to be honest, the scorpions especially are a quest reward that has up till now been available to every full size ship. The stalker craft are the only small craft specifically called out by devs as not available to HEC so I think this is another error of omission.

In fact. ticket raised: #120705-001917 - "I have noticed since the release of the Armitage class in STO, I have been unable to equip the Scorpion fighters received from The Vault mission, or the fighter packs available from the Ferengi lockboxes in a device slot. I believe this is simply an omission, in that "Heavy Escort Carrier" has not been added to the list of allowed classes for these items.

I was hoping this would be fixed in one of the subsequent patches however it still hasn't been resolved. Can these be amended in a near future patch, to allow me to use my quest rewards and also use items received from packs on which I have spent real cash to purchase the keys to open the lockboxes."
