There are both a Fleet version of the advanced and the heavy escort.
It's all a matter of setting the filter in ship requisition correct.

Still stats for the fleet advanced where broken last time i looked for it.

But back to topic the Fleet ships of the lower shipyard tiers don't have to be of equal quality.
Where would there be a worthwhile progression if a ship at T2 would be equal to a T5 why still bother to progress in the system then.

I like it as it is the Nova is a retrofit ist should have lower stats then other fleet T5 ships that the price you pay for having a retrofit ship.

On the upside it has the most usefull BOff layout for overal gameplay and great consol setup aswell.

Compared to the Nova all other Science vessel changes are just simple boring and weak.

And about the Sabre compare the T2 sabre with a Fleet Escort (patrol) on Holodeck.
This little ship is superior in every way to it.
So it is fair that the suped up version of the Fleet patrol Escort is better then the sabre again.

Thank you for the information, I could not find them. Will try again.

PS: Tried again, still no luck. There are retrofits yes, but no fleet ones. I filtered and looked through without filters and found none.
GIVE US THE FLEET HEAVY ESCORT (without CARRIER)!
TYPHOON! Enough said...

Uncheck all ship typ filters and set to VA ships only.
Suddenly the ATROX and Heavy Escort Carrier appear plus the missing Fleet ships.
Including the new FED none cloaking BoP typ Aquarius Destroyer.

P.S. Right now looking at the Fleet Advanced Escort and still the stats are broken.
It has two diffrent BOff layout tooltips and no stats for hull and shields as some more missing stats.

Got it, your are today's hero!

I know, I am neatpicking, but there is only Heavy Escort Carriers, but no Heavy Escorts (without Carriers). I mean the original Akira and Thunderchild without hangars.

The original Heavy Escort is still (thankfully) in the list, so why not make a fleet version of them.?

Before hearing about the retrofit Nova, I figured the Vesta would be the LtC tac Science ship. It's still likely, of course. I'm not sure whether or not I want it to be like the Odyssey or not; on the one hand, being able to choose between three versions and select the one you want is nice, but on the other, having to buy all three to make it worth while sucks.

Didn't know you could see it if you try hard enough. Sounds like a bug to me. Regardless, if you check the fleet holdings I know it mentions a fleet heavy escort carrier. Tier 5 shipyard I believe.

I am guessing (and hoping) the huge patch tomorrow is Season 6.

While I appreciate that the consoles have been fixed on the fleet nova, I notice the promised turn rate change has not made it to Tribble. I am hoping this is just because the build is a few versions behind what is going to go live. While I can't say I have an issue with the current turn rate that's listed (even the Recon's turn rate of 13 is plenty), I wouldn't mind some confirmation.

Beyond that, I again implore the devs to, change the Boff Layout of the Science Vessel Retrofit to match that of the Fleet Science Vessel Retrofit. As mentioned before, with the SV Retrofit having the same bridge officer and console layout as the recon science vessel, it comes down to survivability as the deciding factor, and the Luna beats the Nova here. Even if the turn rate on Novas is increased to 15, it doesn't make up for the loss in durability. being able to use higher level tac skills, on the other hand, with a LtC. Tac boff, is a very nice advantage since you can throw out more firepower with it.

Its a chance to make both of the Heavy Battle Cruisers feel like a Heavy Battle Cruiser... It's nice that one of them was given that chance but the other one just feels like its a Starfleet Vessel with a Klingon Hull wrapped around the outside of it (negh'var).

Not to mention its a Tier 4 ship and then you have the vo'quv with only advantage is 2k more hull and is a Tier 5 starbase ship. Also why no gorn retrofits or fleet ships? One of major reasons no one uses them in STF DPS Races they just aren't adequate for what they can dish out in a small time window.
The VoQuv should get a much more significant change as a 'fleet ship' imo.

It does not need extra HP in shield or armor nor a silly extra console. What it needs is to be changed into a TRUE carrier. A ship that uses its PETS as its weapons not be a glorified science ship that launches fighters.

2 fore weapon slots
2 aft weapon slots
4 engineering console
4 science console
1 tac console
4 hangars

(traded 1 weapon slot fore and aft for a hangar each, traded one tactical console for an engineering console)

BOFF layout should be geared towards a CARRIER's need not a SCIENCE ship's needs

Cmdr Universal
Lt. Cmdr Universal
Lt Engineering
Lt. Science
Lt. Tactical

Considering its a carrier with 2 gun ports it is not going to be a dps monster by having the lt tactical extra station nor having the lt cmdr and cmdr station as a universal slot. What this does instead is allow all captain types to adjust their boff layout to use their own skill sets. Just like birds of prey but not the entire boff layout.

How is it not already a true carrier?
Regardless, wrong thread for this.

and to anyone who wants to continue this discussion there's a ne thread for the nova in it's current Season 6 release state. LINK

The Nova class is much newer and more advanced than most of the ships in-game. To make a quote that I shouldn't make, "size matters not," lol! However, the Olympic class is even newer than that, so they should both be good end-game ships.

it actually maters a lot, but i don't really want to get into that argument. these lower tier fleet ships available at tier 5 for the first time actually a higher shield mod then listed, so far better then a standard tier 5 ship of the same type. that alone makes all the fleet ships plenty viable
