What if its a VA ship you got via Free Token (Meaning the Series Ship Retrofits for fed side, and the slapdash arrangement of ships the KDF get)?

Havent been in game much yet, so does anyone know how much cash money the new fleet ships are going to cost since you have to purchase c-store items to get them?

$20 per ship per character, unless you own the C-Store unlock version (only applies to T5 C-Store ships), then its $5 per ship per character. Veteran reward ships do not qualify.

and we all laughed at those "f2p" sucks - ragers in february. now here it is. another startrek-game goes to the grave due to a franchise-exploiting company. i think gaming age is over now. first blizzard started to sell a hype, instead of a game (d3), wow is already an undead minion of blizzard, then StarWars was also VERY dissapointing for the fact that it was made by those that made ME1+2+3 and so also a franchise-exploitation.

companys now invaded those niche of gaming, to do what they can best: spoil everything with the need for greed and money, and even more money.

i really dont blame the developers, just to make that clear. they are the next to be fired or set on minimum wage, as soon as this game arrives at a state, where no content is needed anymore for long distances.

i think, 2000zen is just showing us, that we get less and less product for more and more money.

lets just do a comparison:

entF: designing a 3d model, designing the secondary ship, designing a texture, designing a saucer sep mode, balance it ito the game = 2000cryptic points

a fleetescort-refit: same model, no console, no extras, the new textures are just the same as already in game (maco set) = 2000zen!

fleet-escort gladius: also the same, if not worse. i must pay at least 1000zen for - reusing the costume i already baught on t2, to have the ability to combine it with the setup of the standard t5 fleet-escort.

in both of the last cases no actual work had to be done. no modelling, no texturing, no balancing, nothing. its a resell of things that are already in game, and to all odds i have to play 4month to get the SB up to the level i can actually use this ****.

for 2000zen, the ships just may have gone to the store. without all that fleet things - noone may have had a reason to complain.

for 100zen or maybe 200zen per token (you mostly need 4 of em) noone would have had a reason to complain either. its still 1200zen less than a store ship, and therefore you have to work on fleet-missions. okay.

but you did the perfect exploitation:

maximum price of ZEN
maximum amount of workload to get these ships!

congrats.

and theres no way for non subbers to buy those from exchange, as the prices will exeed the credit limit by far.

and still theres one flaw in the whole thing left unmentioned: the whole grind is for the ship, when you have it, theres STILL no content to use these ships in!!! as soon as you finally have them, and spent you money on them, theres nothing to actually DO with them, instead of grinding for another ship you may want perhaps ...

Indeed, I honestly cannot fathom what they were thinking. Doing a double facepalm Picard style right now...

I was so excited for season six, because of the fleet ships, and this has immediately killed it.

Fleet ships just aren't worth getting. Ever. You'd have to be nuts to pay $20 just for the pleasure of grinding fleet marks, and all for a one-character one-use ship.

PWE_BranFlakes, might I get some clarification on this:

I am interested in buying the "Fleet Science Vessel Retrofit" (Nova), which is listed at 20k Fleet Credits + 4 modules.

There is also a "Science Vessel Retrofit", which I assume to be a T5 Retrofit of the Nova, listed at 200k Fleet Credits.

If I buy the T5 Retrofit, do I get a discount on buying the Fleet Science Vessel Retrofit, AFTER buying the "Science Vessel Retrofit" ? Fleet mate of mine bought the Rhode Island (Tier 2+) but he isn't seeing any discount.

Clarification please?

The discount only applies to ship that are already T5 in the C-Store. As far as buying the retrofit, and then getting a discount...I don't know, but I somehow doubt it.

Oh, man, Brandon I don't think I could be very happy with your job right now. It must be like being a defense lawyer for the mafia. :p
