On the subject of this special featured project: Yes, to actually see what's out there from the starbase would be great, but for me, the dilithium cost makes it a no-go. It is just too much of a strain for me (I could get a couple "free" ships I want to try for the 400 000 dilithium my two starbases would need. Or even a better part of a C-Store one.).

And btw, what could persuade me to actually select this project now and slooowly filling it over the following months, would be the knowledge of future featured projects.
If I knew there's nothing interesting for me in the pipeline, I wouldn't be afraid to miss on something.
But imagine I select this one now (and can't cancel it) and right after July, 26th, a new great featured unlock presents itself, not costing such an outrageous amount of dilithium. That'd be just very frustrating.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix: Bring in the Allegiance class
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia: Add Tier 6 staple KDF ship types: Carrier and Bird of prey.
Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var: Give us Asylums for Romulans

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

Yet another prime example of how the system was designed for large fleets.

What about us small fleets that can't afford these limited time upgrades?

Thanks to the late arrival of this announcement, my fleet is now behind on the special project. It would have been nice to know that the "limited time" referred to the project's availability and not the window of time you have to complete it.

As it is, you put a nifty 24hr timer on the project which telegraphed something completely different from what you're now saying in this announcement. Good going. Perhaps next time you should have these sorts of announcements available BEFORE people commit to different features. Communication is king and this is an example of playing the jester.

I'm disappointed.

so the ability for fleet leaders to restrict certain ranks from contributing to projects is not a limit? and if they are not worthy enough to contribute and participate in your fleet why even allow them to be members in the first place?
