I'm running the Minefield mission (part of the Romulan arc), and somehow a Bird of Prey has gotten himself stuck in an asteroid.

You have to wonder... how did he get in there?

Any ideas on how to get him out? As you can see from my weapons tray, I can't shoot at him. Even Fire at Will doesn't hit him, so I'm kind of stuck until I get him out.

Go point black range, also try putting your ship into the asteroid, sometimes that can help make your shots hit it.

My views are my own and may not represent those of Perfect World Entertainment

Tried that already, and it didn't work. I tried getting him to chase me too, but he is really stuck in there.

Well, the good news is this: the group that Bird-of-Prey is part of... it's not one of the mission objectives required groups to kill.

You can move around it, go straight to the starbase, kill the one Mogai attacking, then two other groups will warp in one-at-a-time, and you kill those too. Then objective complete, and you beam down.

So it's a bug, but it's not a mission-breaking bug, thankfully.

Well that's good.

I'll have to try avoiding him and going straight for the Mogai then. Thanks.

*snort*

Well he's still stuck, but I got through to the Mogai with no trouble.

Yeah, /stuck, like /insert-thing here, is only supposed to apply to your character, whether your ship or captain

So yeah, applying it to an enemy NPC that's stuck isn't gonna work in the first place

Another screencap:

Annoying that he can shoot me, but I can't return fire. And he's stuck good.
