5. No, it depends. When this glitch occurs, only the weapons that currently firing were frozen. Weapons that were out of their arc, or in their arc but not firing, were not affected.

8. Taking the affected weapons out of their firing arcs, greying them out, sometimes fixed them back to normal. The time it took to fix them varied from almost instant, to needed several seconds... that was, if they were fixed. It was not entirely consistent, as far as I saw.

this is happening way to often now is it goin to be fixed anytime soon really sick of it please fix it......

i don't play any PvP at all only PvE it happens to me when i get stunned or by big torps,
i fly the tact oddy respawnin sorts it out but thats not the point soz like.

I logged out of the game or out of the zone, paused a minute and re-entered game or zone.

This bug has existed since before the new year but I have only encountered it when I attempted to type/hit keys too fast for the game to keep up.

Found this thread after being pointed here after posting about this issue HERE. More detailed post there regarding my findings but I'll replicate some of it here so it's all in once place for the devs.

PvE, in STFs and fleet events. Public queues.

4) If in PvP, which faction were you engaged against at the time? (FvF, FvK, KvK)
In PvE, mainly against feds with their photonic shockwave torps. (they love spamming those) KvF

5) Did it affect all weapons? If no, which were left active?
Randomly affected weapons. I've had (from 3 fore and aft beams arrays equipped) only 2 working fore and 1 aft, or all three aft down. Seems random which ones stop working.

6) When you were affected by this, did any of your other abilities stop working? If so, which ones?
Yes. I've also had eject warp plasma 3 stop working too.

7) Did you notice any other active UI elements at the time of shutdown that normally are not active? (e.g., the Need/Greed Loot window, or accidentally hit ESC to bring up options, etc)
No

Dying and respawning or simply loading into another map seems to resolve it. Equipping other beam arrays work but putting the effected ones back still has the issues. Rearranging the beam in the ships slots doesn't help or do anything either.

For Eject Warp Plamsa, changing the boff out and back again doesn't help either.

Haven't tried Alt+F12 yet



From my post, the issue I've found seems to be when I'm hit with a torp that stuns my ship (so tricobalts or those photonic shockwave torps). Once stunned (pretty certain this is what causes it) whatever was firing when I'm stunned can possibly get permanently disabled. Hence why the weapons/abilities that get disabled are kind of random, it's what ever was firing when hit.

Been hit by a torp whilst ejecting warp plasma and after the initial disable, EWP doesn't become available again.

Hope this helps you track it down.

All but one fore DHC was effected.

1) Fed (has happened about a half dozen times over the past several weeks.)

2) Ship: Heavy Escort Carrier

3) Where: PvP, STF, Chasing fleet points in fleet actions

5) All cannons (fore = dual heavy AP's, rear = AP turrets) Torps still worked including torp spread.

6) Happened during combat, typically after hits are taken. No other abilities noted to be affected.

7) Other active UI elements not noted to be affected.

8) Nothing I tried cleared it up but it cleared itself after about a minute.

It not only affects weapons. When in the D'Kora I sometimes can't switch from Battlemode or Defense mode when the weapons are broken. So other systems are affected too. I also notice this with powers. You hit them and they don't fire until you die or log and come back.
