Does anyone know why I don't see a fleet module discount for the Qin heavy raptor since I already own one?

In fact I don't see fleet module discounts for any fleet versions of KDF ships I own, while I see several on the Fed side.

Honestly, I would say it is because KDF is always an after thought when it comes to adding features into STO. It has been common practice for a while now that some new "whatever" gets added to both factions, but only the FED side functions as intended.

As far as I understand, the discount only applies to ships that have a tier 5 c-store variant.

Doubt anything will be done about it soon as KDF is always sidelined which is one of the reasons I am not playing as much as I used to.

I have Fed and KDF characters. Why there is a Fleet Module discount (1) for the fleet versions of my Heavy Escort Carrier and Escort Retrofit, but to upgrade my Qin Heavy Raptor, the fleet version will cost me (4) Fleet Modules?

Some have said only fleet versions of tier 5 ships are discounted.

Is that case? If it is, I would suggest it's not fair. I would humbly request there should be a fleet module discount for any ships we have purchased.

The discount on fleet modules only applies if you own a tier 5 c-store version of that fleet ship.

As everyone else said you need to buy the T5 C-Store ship to get a discount on the Fleet ship.

That being said there is no way to get a discount on any KDF Fleet ship. [SARCASM] That seems fair doesn't it. [/SARCASM]

I wonder... not that I would ever, in a million years buy the Tier 5 fleet BOPS. They aesthetically an eye sore, and their stats make me want to hurl.

Seeing as they are de facto part of a c-store package viz. the Bortesqu Bundle, why is that discount not applied?

Still amazed that the KDF was given a "pet"-class vessel as a T5. Amazing.

Like its been only t5 ships gets discounts...there are only a few t5 klingon ships and none of them had a fleet version made of them.

I really appreciate the comments. Doesn't hurt to ask, but I also understand any change would be opening a can of worms as the Feds would want their T4 ships discounted as well.

IMHO, there should be a fleet module discount on any ship you own. Maybe a tier 4 ship would cost (2) fleet modules, and tier 3 (3) modules. This might an interesting compromise which recognizes the investment players have made in lower tier ships.
