Hello everyone, I've been doing some work with the Tactical Escort I just bought and even though I have the fleet modulator (acurally I have a few of them), I don't have the shipyard to get my fleet escort, but tell then I want to make myself as useful and as strong as possible, so far I feel like I am strong with it as I do record my DPS, but I want to make myself stronger without changing my career as I do enjoy being an engi captain. So can someone maybe take a look and see how my ship lay out looks and make any changes to make it better?

I also have an engineering toon that use the tac escort retrofit. My layout is look a lot like your with some minor difference.
Weapons I use 1 quad phaser. the rest is the same except mk XII
Eng console, I use I neutronium, 1 tetraburnium or ablative (depend on weapons of enemy) and eps flow regulator or rcs (pvp)
Sci console : 2 field genarators, I don't bother with crew, they disapear to fast anyway with so few (50) rather have shield
tac cosole same
ensign tac: faw, I prefer to BO less a power drain and usefull against HYT, probe (ka), bops (cure) and to hit as many things as possible in fleet event. Since I have 3x[acc] on dual-beam hardly ever miss
lt com tac : tt1, crf1, csv2
com tac : tt1, crf1, apo2,csv3 I prefer to have 2 kind of cannon attack based on enemy in cone of fire 1 or many and I always have the right one available.
Lt eng : EPtW1, RSP1
lt sci: TSS1, HE2 I prefer to have more hull repair
3 x purple shield distribution off (which mean I'm constantly using BFI)
1 more def with BFI, name don't come to mind
1 exocom (maintenance eng) I use battery like candy so very useful
