I just maxed out my diplomacy and got a Fed Orion female science officer, planning to sell it on the exchange, but apparently it's bound. Yet there are several Fed Orion, Nausicaan, and Gorn BOffs currently on the exchange...

Was something changed or am I missing something?

When they first came out, they were unbound due to a bug, which has since been corrected...

As far as I know, the original common rarity diplomacy boffs are unbound (and still are, if you still have an uncommissioned one), but the very rare ones they later introduced have always been bind on pickup.

Thanks, I thought the ones I saw on the exchange were very rare though? Oh well.
