I'm completely at a loss...

I had a thread, about fed vs kdf escotrs.... that suddenly disappeared...

Then I made a thread, asking if anyone knew what happened to the other thread... this one ALSO disappeared...

Am I loosing it? Is this all in my head? Did I imagine it all? Is there a singularity somewhere in the forum?

Can anyone confirm having seen these threads? Or know any reason why they have disappeared?

I guess you have hurt someones feelings and it got removed. The clatch of freedom of expression vs. the internet censorship.

maybe... but why wipe the whole thread, and all trace of it? not just wipe the offending post and close it, as is custom?

It's all very confusing... I had questions out there, that may, or may not have been ansvered... I don't know, as the thread is gone. Shouldn't the thread starter at least be informed? :/

That's what confused me -- usually if things get ugly, posts get edited and we get told to play nice, but the thread mostly stays intact.

Why not just start a new thread of the original thread that disappeared? Surely that wont get removed. I think off topic threads do get deleted or moved elsewhere.

Also if any user has been banned and there is discussion about it, this may also be reason to remove the thread from plain sight. Reasons are usually for player privacy. There is probably something about it in the Terms of Use or Privacy Agreements.

But if the other 2nd post was deleted because the same thing since the previous thread started up again, then the mod may of just did some cleaning duty~ But I was not here after I posted a nice quote, I wish i could remember what it was.

In the second thread I asked for everyone who posted in the first thread to help recreate what had been lost... But yeah, that thread also went missing. It's all very strange.

If we want to keep it trek canon, there should be one sciship, one cruiser, and one escort running permanent RSP and Ablative armor, and hence be indestructible!

It happened also to me, Dassemsto! I didn't believe my eyes, I was correcting my last post when...puff...the entire thread disappeared!
I opened a new thread called "Thread gone" in the PC & Technical Issues forum and here is the message content:

I was correcting my last post in the "Who balanced fed vs kdf escorts" thread and suddenly I can't see it anymore!
Reading the IE9 cronology appears this message: "Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"
But I can't send an email because there is another message: "Sorry. The email function has been disabled by the administrator".
What can I do?

Maybe it's all Bitemepwe fault because he was complaining about my "evil Klinguns" chime......now for Cryptic I can no longer joking anymore...but also Bitemepwe was joking about that as like we used to...
