# 1 One Crits, it all Crits.

The following Bug effects anything that has multiple attacks from a single effect, powers like:
Eject Warp Plasma
Feedback Pulse
Mine Deployment Patterns

It also effects the Plasma DoT burn from Plasma Weapons and Plasma Projectiles.

If any of the effect Crits, the entire effect is an automatic Crit.

For example:

If you Deploy Mines using Mine Deployment Pattern Beta 3. If any of those mines is a Crit, every mine from the Pattern, weither 14, or 4 (Tricobalt Mine) is going to crit.

I have not witnessed this effect to never have the above statement as true. And this is even more noticable when coming from Tactical Officers with Attack Pattern Alpha, or any other effect that increases Crit chance.

I have not had a chance to witness this on Ground often to be sure, but I also believe that the same is true for things like Plasma Grenades.

While this above might not seem like such a big deal for PVE, when PVP gets involved it can become very dangerous for the players involved.

I'm just curious...

Phased tetryon weapons' shield damage proc sometimes crits, too, i.e. the average total damage per proc is like 2.000, a crit hits for 5.000 shield damage. Are those crits related to a critical hit of the weapon itself or calculated individually?

i think borticus mentioned they knew about this but couldn't easily fix it. acceton beam's dot causes it to.

True. First surfaced as a known issue shortly before releasing Bioneural Warheads. At the time we didn't have the resources to fix the issue and determined the only thing we could conceivably do was to turn off the affected abilities' chance to crit completely. We decided not to take that action.

We'll circle back on this, see if anything can be done to improve the situation at this point in time.

I don't know enough about systems to know if I'm on the right track, but I just wanted to mention that I saw a funny result with Hazard Emitters I.

Is it usually possible for heals to crit? Is it usually possible for hull hp to go over 100%? How is shuttle HP determined?

The result was that my teammate (in the Vault) saw his hull go up to 300%. We couldn't reproduce the conditions in a PVP map afterward. He was in a Ferengi shuttle, I was in a Toron.

The DoTs all critting after the first one crits was a major problem in Champions Online as well.They have since fixed it. Maybe if you talked to them about how they did it it might apply here since you guys use the same engine.

Not that I want it to be fixed...

from my experience the bug works both ways and usually benefits the players i know that i at least love it with grav well or warp plasma if ya do come round to it im cool if not im still cool with it.

Captain Kirk would be upset at the lack of romance in game. lol

Ya know, almost every episode he got the chick. I was looking for an ask Cryptic thread to post this but gave up...

Will there be any intergration of the old Star Trek Cheesyness added in such as Kirks amazing ability to exploit every damsel in distress and leave behind a trail of broken hearts.. You cant just ignore those heartfelt moments is star trek where kirk smashes his face against another female in that all but totally poorly acted kiss. It would be a great laugh to have an in game charater gesture of that.

Or the signature ripped shirt every time he got into a tiff. Or the same cut on his face after every fight he got into.

What about all those skimpy 60s outfits showing all that skin. I read that there were issues with that with the original character creation making assumption that all those body parts would be covered but it would be nice to see some bikini clad star fleet girls on shore leaves. lol or even make a beach wear outfit purchasable in the Cstore.

This sounds like a reasonable solution, if both combat systems are also the same, or similar enough to get such a fix to work properly.
