I can not get rid of this belt, although the belt option is set to none.

He appears on every jacket or shirt, exept the "Uniform - Vest" items.

It's a Chuck Norris belt.
You don't wear it...it wears you.

Seriously, I think this "belt" is actually not a belt but rather a piece of cosmetic equipment.
On my character I have the option to have a tricorder on strap over my should for example.
I can't see any similar option on your character however.
So is this "belt" perhaps part of another costume piece like the trousers or the jacket?
It does seem to have the same colour as the shoulder pieces...might it be connected to the jacket?

*off topic: even though in the German language words like "belt" are not gender-neutral, this is not the case in English. Using "he" on a belt makes it sound like it's a person*

Ah forgot, items are "it" Das G?rtel

I ve tried different combinations, different jackets and undershirts.
Tovan Khev received the same jacket and undershirt combo and has not this belt.

Although the Uniform Tailer seems to have different options available for each and every character I have even if they are the same race

All non-persons except ships are "it"...ships are "she" because they are...round.

HMM...I'm kinda running out of ideas...but there might be one thing left...is this actually the visual from your kit?
It looks a bit like a low-level kit.
I seem to recall they are displayed on Federation-allied Romulans.
If it is, go to your character (where you equip weapons, shield armor etc. and right-click on the kit.
There should be an option to turn off the visuals for it.
Just a guess however.

Thanks for mentioning the kit. I was having the same problem and it was driving me nuts. As soon as I read the word "kit" I face-palmed and disabled visuals. misterde3, you are better than a handful of ibuprofen.

We will NEVER EVER talk about that belt again..

that brings me to my next question: Since when are Kits visible at the tailor?

I have no earthly idea when I received the kit, or how it got equiped on my character..

First rule about belt...don't talk about the belt.

Well, it seems this is rather new...but since I always turn off kits and armor anyway I can't be sure.
I think season 6 or 7 they included visuals like shields in the ship tailor so maybe they're now expanding this to the personnell tailor.

HMM...I do get one kit at Gasko station and it's a mission requirement to pick it up.
Most likely you got the kit there.
