If a T5 cruiser cant kill probe spawns they need to L2P badly. Ive never once let a probe through in all my runs in any STF. EWP3 + FAW = dead probes.

Tell that to my beam-boat engineer. Mirror Assault Cruiser, FAW2, Eject Warp Plasma 3, EPS Relay 3, Tactical Team 1, Weapon Energy to maximum, Energy Weapon and Critical hit up to maximum allowed, and the occasional basic weapon battery. I volunteer to take the right side probes every single time. Even during the first time I jumped into KASE (skipped KASN), I didn't even know whether I could handle it or not.

I've done KASE with my engineer dozens of times now, and not a single probe has slipped by me.

Hell, I could do it in a regular assault cruiser or star cruiser if I wanted.

And photon torpedos use anti matter as the warhead, as most do.
Are you sure you're not confusing this with the Year of Hell from Voyager? I recall this happening with a Chroniton Torpedo.

Besides, Memory Alpha nor Memory Beta does lists Polaron Torpedoes being used by the Dominion. The Dominion used Phased Polaron weapons, but there is no mention of Polaron Torpedoes.

Not all anti-matter warheads are photon torpedoes.

Iam 100% positive, ive seen all the shows. The defiant was in orbit of a gas giant and hid in the cloads when it got hit by jem hadar. The dmg to the hull let in posionous gas that nearly killed some of the crew.

They rigged a probe to act as a decoy and killed the jem hadar when they attacked the probe.

The year of hell was voyager in which a chroniton torpedo got lodged in the side and didnt detonate till a short while later which cause temporal issues with some of the crew mainly Kess.

^ If it isn't listed on a website where hundreds, if not thousands of people double, triple, and quadruple check every last detail that gets added to it, then it isn't in the series.

Do you remember what episode it is? I can bring it up on Netflix right now and check myself.

It doesnt say what type of torpedo on the site but in the show it did. If it had a good pic you would be able to see a translucent type purple torpedo case lodged in part of the mess hall wall. The pic on the site isnt very good sadly.

I didnt ask for hybrid torpedos. I said since we got hybrid weapons why not add more torpedos.

OK, admittedly Memory Alpha isn't perfect, as the lack of any content describing that episode will show. Only those who contribute to it can ensure that any information is there at all.

However, just watched the episode and the Defiant simply gets hit with a "torpedo". Nothing more. no information about what type it is except that it was originally sold to the Dominion by the Karemma, of which Quark was currently discussing business with a Karemman trader, and soon found themselves having to deal with the torpedo and risk disarming it.

Here's a picture I took with my camera phone. The torpedo has a pinkish glow to it, but no information about what type it was.

Most of the damage to the Defiant was caused by dominion beam weaponry combined with the atmospheric pressure of the gas giant planet that all the ships had to descend into, and it was there that they played a game of cat and mouse until the Defiant destroyed the Dominion ship with a phaser blast from the modified deflector array that ended up lasting about 5 seconds before the ship was destroyed.

anyways, I remember a thread a few months back asking that all the energy types be transformed into torpedo equivalents. Nice idea except that canonically, tetryons, polarons, antiprotons, and disruptor energy can't be fired in anything other than energy form.

.... or at least can't be used in torpedo form.
I never really made the connection between 'em, since the chronitons (for some reason) slow the enemy rather than do what the temporal warheads in Year of Hell did, which was something akin to transphasics, but a lot more powerful.
