# 1 Lowbies in Fleet Events
08-22-2012, 11:11 PM
Dear Dev Team, please make seperate queues for Fleet Events. Seperate the Admirals from the lower Tiers.

Lower Tiers do not scale up and their performance greatly harms the success of the fleet events. And failures not only waste our time, but it lowers our daily Mark Intake.

I was running a Lieutenant, and saw that I could queue for some fleet events. I joined with my Connie, and to my chagrin, I was surrounded by VA ships. Since quitting would also hurt the group, and put in my best effort, and never tried to join a fleet action again.

I would also like to see some sort of scaling involved. For instance, pretty much all of my fleet mates are low level players, and since I'm one of the few lvl 50s, I have to do the bulk of the Fleet Mark gathering. If we were able to set up a team with the level set to one of the lower ranked players, and then have the fleet action scaled to the same level as the team, it would be a big help to us.

This character is why I don't play my Romulan any more. Tovan Khev is NOT my BFF! Get him off my bridge!

Piling everyone into a level 50+ map was probably done to accelerate the public queues but what it means is I've heard of Starbase Defence 20-man maps totally filled with Mirandas and Connies with only one Galaxy-R to tank the whole map.

Having low level ships for private queues or pre-teams is fine, so VAs can show junior pilots around or bring alts to tag along with fleetmates.

But public queues. Ahem. What was Cryptic thinking?

Va only queue ???

Starbase defence ?

never runs (not enough VA's)

fleet alert?
3 AFK and 2 leavers because its not all escorts

Blockade
2 leavers because they saw a cruiser

Incursion
two never log in and the other three argue about who is in command

Doesn't match with my experiences or timezone (US time).

Usually all MACO elite operatives.

Which means we can do optionals in our sleep

Cruisers are also the best shiptype for blockade: spam heals and warp plasma and win without firing a shot, literally.

Remember that many people are not as smart as you are and think only a DPS chariot antiproton armed escort is any use at all

Actually yesterday in incursion we had TWO Va's out of a team of five
one never fully logged in (shield bar does not fill out in this case)
the other sat in the lift and did not move at all

we got 17 sabs 3/4 and missed the captain not bad for a team of three none of whom was above Commander

I feel both these losers should be deleted
but thats just me

Some scaling is needed. When you're VA and you get lumped with two Lts, a Cmdr and a Cptn you can tell how it's going to go before it starts. (They spent most of their time waiting to respawn, in case you were wondering.)

Two queues would do it. One for Lt - Cmdr and one for Cptn to VA. Breaking it up any more than that would result in redonkulous wait times in the queues.

Exactly, because even if they are scaled up, a LT isn't pulling it's own weight as a VA due to the lack of firepower. And frankly, I'm tired of having my time wasted during events because of this.

From now on, if I got a lowbie group, I'm just going to leave.

If it's a waste of your time, you can always grind marks on Nukara, instead of tantruming about how those rotten-old-n00b2 are ruining your perfect score.
