Help!!

here's whats happening..

I double click STO, and it launches via Steam. Launch screen with the adverts for C Store appears, usual patching stuff, click 'Engage' button.

Loads up character screen, choose my character, he beams out and then it crashes. A window pops up for 3 seconds and asks me to descrive what happenned etc etc but then it disappears...

I reload and it asks if I want it to check the files. and that it may take 20 minutes. Done that. start again, exact same thing happens...

Please help... and please respond in plain english because I'm trying to follow the other threads but I get quite lost...

Same thing is happening with me. Did you ever find a solution? It is only one character that is crashing for me. My other character loads up just fine.
