A few months ago, we were told that LoR will contain a new User Interface (UI), where it was to be more LCAR-ish. But when LoR's Beta was released on Beta and we saw the new UI, I got to say that it wasn't as I expected.
So I went to Photoshop and worked on my own.......ideas for how I would've liked the UIs to have looked.
With the Federation UI, I made it as LCARish as you can get and integrated the Weapon Panel into the Health Panel, where everything was close by such as the Various Fire Buttons, Subsystem Targeting, Carrier Commands, and close function for those who like to manually fire by clicking on the weapons (for instance launching the Bio Neural since the Torpedo key does not work).
With the BOFF Bar, whats the point in having pictures when the name of the character is sufficent enough?
Looks nice, but to the average gamer, would look too intimidating, and with smaller buttons for skills, might make it harder to tell what's what, and more difficult for the people in fierce combat who click on everything rather than use hot keys.
