Heh, both are first person shooters, STO's 'spectator' mode of combat is really odd but I don't see them changing it anytime soon.

They need to clone KA's storyline into an STO feature episode (for levelling a new toon from lvl 1), that will SILENCE almost all critics of KDF's lack of content, wouldn't you agree ? And to have the ships from KA would quiet the masses screaming for more KDF ships, right ?

I'd love to make the battlecloak (NOT the regular cloak) something truly 'powerful' again, rather than just being a convenient escape tool.

Add a large 5-second damage resist buff to the hull when battlecloak is engaged (since the BoP is incredibly vulnerable for those few seconds, making it suicidal to actually engage the cloak in battle).

Increase the length of time the damage buff from decloaking lasts, or increase the size of the buff. Actually compensate us for being 1-2 tac consoles behind the Fed escorts.

Increase cloak stealth rating, make it much harder for annoying sci captains to see you. Get rid of the damn decloak-when-Boff-speaks bug, as well. This can apply to regular cloaks as well.

Lastly, introduce a doff that can reduce the cooldown on the battlecloak. Going so far as to reduce it by a flat rate by default would be a bit much, even for this dream scenario.

I am a fed, and I still like that. Dahell is wrong with me lol. Though I think I like it more for the suffering it will cause as opposed to the actual ability XP. As for the spectator mode of combat two posts up, play BSGO. You get used to it REAL fast. I still like my Anti-matter infusion though. That will make peeps stop complaining that engis can't keep up with damage. And it will increase DPS on cruisers too XD.

Ya, and I stopped playing the need for speed series games when they eliminated bumper cam view and went with the overhead view. Do you drive your car from a standing position on the trunk lid ? NO, so why does my starship view need to be outside and the camera dont track the enemy ?

I'd like the ability to capture NPC ships like you could in the starfleet command games. The number of times you can do it would be based on the crew compliment of the ship you command yourself.

Shield Burst

for 5 seconds the shields are charged with super heated plasma.

Causes kinetic damage proportional to speed and 100% guarantee of Plasma fire to impact target.

Plasma weapon damage to shields during this effect extend duration of effect.

Shields are dropped and shield power reduces to -10 for 15 seconds following use.

10 minute cooldown.

1.Attack Pattern (insert random Greek letter here). tac skill- doesn't really matter to me what it does as long as it is halfaway decent and the tier 1 version of the skill is useable at Ensign level so I have a skill to put in a third ensign tac boff station when I am not using torpedos or beams.

2. Divert power to weapons- tac skill. drains power from other subsytems to boost power to weapons for a short period of time, again a weak version of this must be available at ensign level

Beam Rapid Fire.

Increased beam rate of fire at one target.

BRF I- 1% Increase of weapon proc rate + % increase of dmg
BRF II- 2% Increase of weapon proc rate + % increase of dmg
BRF III- 4% Increase of weapon proc rate + % increase of dmg

Cons- Increase in power usage and reduced accuracy
