yes very exciting, but I for one won't be having a blast until we can actually fly the ship from the inside. I mean that's like 99% of the show right there. I can understand not being able to fight (although that would be the best), I'd definitely be very happy with at least being able to move the ship from the bridge, so you can feel as if you're on your ship, and traveling slowly to your destination. That's definitely a lot of the fun!! I hope this comes out soon, but I'm sure all of it will eventually come out and make us all happy.

I am really hoping for a TOS style bridge to go with my constitiution class ship. That would really be a hit with this 'classic' fan!

I'm really pleased we have bridges at launch, and I hope Cryptic follow up on their promise to add more interiors after launch.

For a lot of us (I imagine) Trek isn't so much about combat as it is about character interaction, this is something Bioware seems to understand with Star Wars: The Old Republic's fully voiced characters and fleshed out companion characters. I do believe that fully fleshed out companion characters would work really well with the frankly brilliant idea of the STO episodes.

I hope Cryptic realise this and put a bit more focus on non-combat areas like diplomacy, character interaction and exploration.
